2026 Spring Benefit: You’re Invited!

 
 

Literature to Life invites you to exciting evenings celebrating the stories we carry and benefitting our work in schools. Our goal is to raise $30,000 in support of our Wynn Handman Partnership Program, which provides free, high-quality arts programming to schools throughout New York City and Washington, D.C.

 

 

New York City: Monday, May 4 at 6:00PM

Tickets start at $175 per person.

Literature to Life invites you to an exciting evening celebrating the stories we carry and benefitting our work in schools. The evening includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, live music, guest speakers, and a selection from Zora Folk Tales, based on the work of Zora Neale Hurston.

Washington, D.C.: Monday, May 11 at 6:00PM

Edlavitch JCC, 1529 16th St NW, Washington, D.C

Tickets start at $250 per person.

The evening includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a full performance of Black Boy by Richard Wright.

To make the greatest impact, donate at any of the following levels:

 

$10,000 — Cost of three years of subsidized residencies and performances in a Wynn Handman Partnership school (includes an LTL tote bag, name recognition on our website/eblasts/social media, signage and verbal recognition at the event, a moment to speak at the event, and the opportunity to visit a partner school to see the work in action).

$5,000 — Cost to bring the LTL Signature Residency program into two NYC/D.C. schools (includes an LTL tote bag, name recognition on our website/eblasts/social media, signage, and verbal recognition at the event).

$2,500 — Cost to provide one NYC/D.C. school with an LTL Signature Residency program (includes an LTL tote bag and name recognition on our website/eblasts).

$1,000 — Cost to bring one LTL workshop to an NYC/ D.C. school (includes an LTL tote bag).
