Legacy Actor of The House on Mango Street

Josefina is an Argentine American performer and educator who has traversed life in many countries. She has a long history of working in the classroom - as teacher, adviser, and mentor - in both K-12 schools, and at the college level. Josefina brings global perspectives into her work with students, and is committed to the task of finding voice in written work, and building a robust dialogue between readers and texts. Josefina’s work with Literature to Life began some twenty five years ago as an actress, with the production of Sandra Cisneros’ The House on Mango Street, and in early workshop conversations with American Place Theatre, and the role of Arts Education Her work with the company continues to this day - as an artist, educator, reader, and a collaborator in the creation of Literature to Life Teacher Resource Guides.
