Are you ready for a Holiday Season Intellect-stacular!?
We're super excited to bring to you WAO-UNA TERTULIA: a gathering to share ideas & talents centered around Dominican culture, artists, & voices. We will hear words, see them come to life, talk about them, and Dance!
The event will feature spoken word performances by the Dominican Artists Collective’s performing artists, a live reading of Clap When You Land written by Elizabeth Acevedo, and a SOLO performance of Literature to Life's The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Díaz, including other surprises (hint hint: bring your dance shoes).

This evening is produced in partnership with the Dominican Artists Collective, the Dominican Writers Association, Literature to Life, and XCLSV Events.
