The Story

The author, Jeannette Walls, and her siblings are often left to fend for themselves as the family's precarious lifestyle necessitates frequently doing "the skedaddle." Meanwhile, they cherish the vision of "genius" Dad's creation of a fabulous home, the glass castle.

The actress plays upwards of seven characters including the alcoholic father, Rex Walls, who the author loves with a fierce loyalty. Touching on issues of alcoholism and poverty in America, audiences will be challenged to face the complexities and challenges of Wall's family, as well as their own.
